Five episodes. One life, told in order — from the railroad tracks of Wichita to the operating room and back. Start at the beginning; it's worth it.

EPISODE 1

The Early Years

A poor Kansas boyhood, a mother's sacrifices, and a golf course built by hand.
Les opens the show with his mother's last words and begins at the beginning: growing up poor in Wichita, the family home, his mother's sacrifices, Sunday meals and church, the railroad tracks, the 20-acre field, neighborhood games, the home addition, childhood adventures — and the small golf course he created as a boy.
